SO my best friend Coby came up with this idea a few years ago – 30 things to do before she is 30. Well, I started a list, got one of them done and lost it. So I redid mine! But instead of 30 things to do before I am 30, I’m doing 32 things to do before I’m 32. Here it is! The bolded one with the date is the only one that is completed thus far:
1. Get my Masters Degree in Education from the University of Memphis
2. Write a book
3. Go to the Smithsonian Museum
4. Go to Glacier National Park
5. Go back to NYC
6. Swim with Dolphins
7. Begin to get my Doctorate in Education or my Masters in Journalism
8. Move out of Memphis and head back west – hopefully either to Texas or Arizona
9. See another Broadway show – preferably on Broadway
10. Go to the College World Series – DONE (June 14 to 16th, 2009 - See the picture at the top)
12. Finish writing at least 10 issues of Operation: Godfather
13. Go to Scotland
14. Get a book published
15. Go to a BCS Bowl Game
16. Go to a Kappa Delta National Convention
17. Learn another language fluently
18. Loose all the weight I want to
19. Go to the Acropolis in Athens, Greece
20. Go to the other 21 states that I haven’t been to, along with Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C.: Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine.
21. Go to Mardi Gras in New Orleans
22. Take Kiki to the ocean or Gulf of Mexico for a swim
23. Read 100 books that I haven’t read
24. Sit in on a session of Congress
25. See any concert
26. Go to the top of the Arch in St. Louis
27. See the northern part of Yellowstone National Park
28. Go to Comic Con in San Diego
29. Go to another 5 National Parks – other then Glacier and Yellowstone
30. Go for a boat ride on the Mississippi River
31. Ride a motorcycle, but not necessarily drive it.
32. Make my Uncle Walter go to a football game at Sun Devil Stadium
